To whom it may concern:

I've finally decided to brave the harsh world of on-line posting without the cover of anonymity or pseudonyms. To that end, I shall introduce myself by listing the minor contributions I've brought to the Masters of the Universe community.

In late 2001, I opened a dialogue with Donald F. Glut, writer of the first four mini-comics. In late 2006, I conducted a more in-depth interview by telephone, and eventually uploaded the recording to the Internet.

Somewhere around 2004 or 2005, David Wolfram at Mattel suggested I speak with Mark Taylor, one of the original designers for the early toy line. This led to a telephone interview with Mr. Taylor in late 2006, and an e-mail Q&A session about the characters he influenced. In 2007, Mr. Taylor also gave me some scans of his concept art, which I then uploaded.

In late 2007, I conducted a telephone interview with artist Rudy Obrero. Mr. Obrero then sent me some excellent scans of the paintings found on the Battle Cat and Wind Raider packages.

All the audio, text, and images given to me I've tried to make readily available. If anyone wants copies of the files, just send me some blank CDs with return postage. Any posting of the materials must include proper credit: to me for the interviews, or to the artists for their own work. Aside from that, feel free to pass it around! Very Happy

Hi Matthew,
thanks for taking the time to register here!

And hands down for your work on the interviews.
I already listened to them (they are available for download at toynexus.org) and have to say you've gathered some truly amazing and valuable infos there.

Cheers to you for the effort!

Best regards,
Tom
