Does anyone have any of these. There were originally going to have 9 different figures. Jen, Kira, Pod Peasant, Slave Pod Peasant, Aughra, and Skeksis (Chamberlain) all came with an accessory and a piece of the Dark Crystal.

Then there was going to be 3 deluxe figures a mystic, a garthim, and a landstrider. They were never released, and I have only been able to replace these four in my collection.

Oh my god, you have to go watch it right now. Do not worry about renting it, buy it. It is so worth the money. They have a brand new 25th anniversary edition. I do not know if it was released in PAL format, so you may just have to watch it in NTSC.

It is the first full-length feature film that was all puppetry and animatronics. Unbelievably ahead of it's time. Jim Hemson at his absolute best, and CGI has nothing on this stuff. The scale of this movie is insane.

Evil looking Monsters, oh I am going to watch it right now.

I have seen "Dark Crystal" or "Labyrinth" not in full length, only pieces when it was in TV years ago.

Does anybody know, that there are also "Lord of the Rings" Actionfigures, not from the new movie,...

And there exist a boxed Gift-Set with 4 ActionFigures (a yellowed one in a vienna comicshop) and a second series,...

Hey, just some small talk:

I just watched the "Dark Crystal" DVD today evening with two buddies, and the animations and costumes were really amazing compared to the standards back then. Top notch stuff!
Only wished the story had a little more depth (the plot would easily fit on 1 sheet of paper), but nontheless a flick you should have seen at least once in your life.

Thanks for the recommendation, I guess otherwise I would have never have heard of it.

Oh and Carl - by the way: When the castle/maintower was shown in the very first scene the 3 of us watching the DVD instantly had the same idea that it reminded us all of the castle from the "The Neverending Story" ... lol
lol! lol! lol!
