Not that I am a HUGE fan, but definitely a big fan of his pre-mid-90s carreer.
Thriller, Beat it, Billy Jean, Bad, etc. all are kickass songs, even listening to them today.

Really too bad he's gone. I would have been curious to see videofootage of 50-yearold Michael Jackson doing his moonwalk in the upcoming London shows.

The world has lost the greatest performing artist of all time.
I was fortunate enough to see him perform live twice and I had tickets for the concert of July 26th.

No matter what people are saying about him...there isn't a single person between 20 and 50 years of age that didn't like at least one or two of his songs.

I was 5 years old when my mom had to knit me a sweater that looked like the red leather jacket MJ is wearing in The Thriller video (I still own it).
I used to walk around the house (somewhere around 1983 -1984) wearing shiny black shoes, white socks and a single white glove.

He was the inventor of the video clip (EVERYBODY loved Thriller), a magnificent dancer and a musical genius.
The Dangerous album is a true work of art (and Bad and Thriller are obviously fantastic as well).
Give in to me is without any doubt the greatest song of all time.

King of Pop; You will always be remembered.

Thank you for everything.

In memoriam: Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009).

Just read something interesting on TMZ:

http://www.tmz.com/category/michael-jackson/page/1/

see page3:
Quote:
Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno says Michael Jackson was "in great shape" in recent weeks -- and he should know .... Lou was in charge of training MJ for his London concerts.
Lou told us he got to see Michael bust a few of his old moves -- and said the King of Pop was poised to make "the greatest comeback in history.'

Cool to see Lou had been the personal trainer of MJ Smile

The weirdest thing to me so far is his personal doctor:

Concerning TMZ.com he performed CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for half an hour or so - ON A BED! - before he called (or better: let one of MJ's servants call) 911.

Now I don't really know much about general medicine studying just dentistry, but one thing I do know about First Aid is that you need to have a firm surface when you perform CPR on someone. Otherwise it's absolutely useless when the body moves along your torso-compressing methods.

Beside that the first minutes after someone gets a heart-attack are crucial! Because if the heart doesn't transport oxygen to your brain you're pretty much fucked a.k.a. braindead after 5 - 15 minutes.
So before you even start doing CPR yourself you need to call 911.

But in the doctor's defense - in a situation like this, with an unconscious celebrity like M.J. in front of you, chances are you will forget the basics when you're under that huge amount of stress.

Embarassed
